In these forums, you will find 10-12 topics that are also chapters in the book. Under each broad topic, we collaborate on two aspects of the topic:
The draft chapter for the upcoming book. This chapter is written for an audience not expected to have any preexisting understanding of the topic. Therefore it is inherently an introduction laying out the basic concepts and referencing data and prior works to build the Elevate Health 2050 vision. In this forum, we are working to clarify and simplify the chapter while not sacrificing the most important aspects.
Often we will start working on a new edition about 60 days before we publish the current edition. In this way, collaboration can continue while we also publish one edition per year.
This is the EH 2050 community leadership, research, and discussion. We seed this discussion forum with chapter topics, nuanced questions, outside reference material, and partnership explorations.
In these research and discussion forums, the community is working to extend and develop each topic area trying to align members using our community values and beliefs toward our vision for Health Markets in 2050.
I will actively invite collaborators. This should drive some early valuable edits and iteration. For people that prepurchase a book they are recognized as collaborators.
